The smartest and most efficient Tree Risk system

Many of you will know David Evans from previous seminars and training sessions he has delivered in Perth over the past ten years.

He has now developed what I consider to be the smartest and most efficient Tree Risk system currently available – VALID. –https://www.validtreerisk.com/tree-risk-assessment-&-tree-risk-management-training

The fact that accurate and detailed assessments can be completed and presented as a detailed report using the APP which drives the system, sets it apart from its competitors. VALID initially visited Perth in early 2018 with 18 people receiving training and validation to use the system.

VALID is returning to Perth in late October with limited attendee places for a second round of training please follow  this link to registration – https://www.validtreerisk.com/event-3510536?CalendarViewType=0&SelectedDate=10/3/2019

As a regular Tree Risk assessor and user of VALID, I strongly urge anyone involve in tree assessments to secure a space.

Giant Pine Scale Outbreak

Giant pine scale, an insect pest that feeds on the sap of pine, fir and spruce trees, was recently found in metropolitan Melbourne.

The Department of Economic Development (DED) is conducting a program to control this pest and protect Australia’s $1 billion softwood plantation industry.

In Melbourne, more than 500 trees infested with giant pine scale have been found, on both private and public land.

Two restricted areas have been established around the sites where the pest has been detected.

Please see the attached documents for further information about the infestation, locations and treatments being conducted.
